Excursions by car or motorbike
- La Route des Grandes Alpes: over the Passes of Galibier, the Izoard, the Iseran and the Madeleine.
- La Marmotte (a famous cycling-event) by car: a circuit of 160 km around the Oisans by the Glandon, the Telegraphe and the Galibier passes.
- To la Berarde, the centre of the Parc National des Ecrins.
- The circuit of Alpe d'Huez and the Sarenne Pass.

Hiking
- From the hotel to Les Clots or to the Emparis plateau.
- 15 minutes by car to Le Perron and from there a walk to the lake of Quirlies, one of nature's phenomena where the glacier of the Quirlies meets the lake.
- By car to the Sarenne Pass and an hour and a half walk up to the top of the Cassini where you'll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Alpe d'Huez, Les 2 Alpes, La Meije and the Mont Blanc
- 15 minutes by car to the valley of the Veneon for numerous walks in the Parcs des Ecrins
- Or along a narrow footpath from Mizoën to the Chambon reservoir for a refreshing dive......
- All the hiking maps and descriptions are free and available at the hotel
The Lake of Quirlies, a 3 hour fairly stiff walk, starting from le Perron,
15 minutes by car from the Hotel.
Cycling Events
- La Marmotte, every first or second Saturday in July, a 175km circuit over the famous passes of the Croix de Fer, the Telegraph, the Galibier, the Lautaret, and finally the Alpe d'Huez
- Almost every year the Tour de France passes through Alpe d'Huez, Les 2 Alpes or the Galibier

Remaining outdoor activities
- In St. Christoph you'll find the Eaux Vives outdoor-centre for rafting and hydro- speeding. You can rent the equipment for the Via Ferrata from here

- In Les 2 Alpes you can go Paragliding, climbing, swimming, climb a Via Ferratta, or catch the chairlift to the summit of the3,500m glacier.

Summer-Skiing
- You can ski in Les 2 Alpes from the end of June until 20th of August on the glacier at an altitude of 3,500 meters
